Tom Cruise isn’t just a daredevil—he’s a breakfast-believer. The Hollywood icon once again took his stunt game to sky-high extremes for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, and his fuel of choice? A breakfast buffet worthy of an action hero.

In one of the film’s jaw-dropping sequences, Cruise clings to the wings of a vintage 1940s biplane, soaring at 120 miles per hour. But before the cameras rolled, Cruise made sure his body was ready to handle the brutal conditions and high-adrenaline choreography. “The amount of energy it takes . . . I train so hard for that wing-walking,” he told People. “I’ll eat, like, sausage and almost a dozen eggs and bacon and toast and coffee and fluids. Oh, I’m eating!”

And eat he must—at high altitudes, with wind chill and sheer exertion, Cruise’s body is in constant overdrive. “Picture: It’s cold up there. We’re at high altitude. My body is burning a lot,” he said.

But Cruise’s devotion to preparation doesn’t stop at eggs and bacon. The actor is a lifelong learner and a full-time trainer, constantly sharpening his skill set for the next mission—whether it’s parachuting, flying helicopters, or even busting a move. That’s right, folks—Tom Cruise is taking dance lessons.

“I’m interested in that art form,” he explained. “The teachers understand how to move a body, what the shape does, and the emotion it can create in others.”

With Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning set to raise the bar yet again, it’s no surprise Cruise’s prep involves everything from aviation to artistry—and apparently, a dozen eggs to go.
